1. Local Storage Only

GeoShift operates strictly within your local browser environment. All coordinate configuration values, site-specific preferences, active mode choices, and location history entries are saved directly in your browser's local profile storage (using chrome.storage.local and chrome.storage.session).

2. No Server Telemetry

We do not operate any backend servers or storage databases for GeoShift. Your settings do not leave your browser. GeoShift does not collect, log, transmit, sell, or analyze your browsing history, location overrides, or personal identity details. There are no tracking scripts, analytics modules, cookies, or telemetry listeners embedded in the software.

3. Third-Party Disclosures (Google Maps)

When you explicitly choose to open the visual map picker interface or parse supported Google Maps coordinates links, your browser communicates directly with Google. All interactions with the map layout, viewport shifts, and search queries are performed under Google's standard Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. GeoShift has no control over Google's tracking data collection.

4. Data Control and Deletion

Because all configurations are stored locally on your device, you have absolute control over your data. You can delete your custom presets and location history at any time by clearing your browser extension storage, removing website permissions, or uninstalling GeoShift from your Chrome browser profile.
